SunSys 2683 is an aqueous multi-functional barrier coating designed to handle grease and/or moisture rich packaging applications. These coatings are ideal for packaging perishable foods, bakery containers and beverage packaging.
2683 aqueous coatings are formulated to have the following properties:
Direct Food Contact (DFC)
Good grease & water barrier properties
Good slide angle
Printable
Hot melt & cold set glueable FDA compliant
Repulpable
Viscosity range is between 35 – 55 seconds using a #2 Zahn.
